WELCOME TO THE BURMESE ALLIANCE

We are a group of breeders located in the Midlands and North of England,  dedicated to promoting the Burmese and their close relatives, the Asians. We aim to breed for excellent health,  correct type and of course the renowned Burmese temperament, using carefully selected, show winning bloodlines.

You may wonder what is so special about Burmese and Asians - but once you've met one of these amazing cats,  you'll know straight away.  They are truly addictive - and we can guarantee that once you've lived with an Asian or a Burmese,  you will never want to be without at least one in your life!

The purpose of this site is not to explain the origins and history of the breeds - there are plenty of excellent sites that do this very comprehensively (see our links page) - we are here to help you find your ideal kitten and we hope to be able to give you helpful, impartial advice on all aspects of Burmese and Asian ownership.  If you're interested in showing your cat,  we are very happy to offer assistance and support.  Showing is an enjoyable hobby and one where many friendships are made,  but it can seem quite daunting when you finally get to your first show and find you know absolutely nothing and no-one!
